10 keys that shape Christian leadership and ministry

Number 2: Preach Christ from all Scripture through expository and topical proclamation
“For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.” (2 Corin. 1:20).
The story of the Bible can be summed up as the story of the God who rules and saves through Jesus Christ, therefore the local church must preach and teach Jesus from all Scripture. He is the true Israelite, the true temple, the true sacrifice. He is the fulfilment of all God’s promises. And so we preach Him who died, rose, rules and will return. Jesus makes the pages of the Bible come to life!
We must preach through books of the Bible, allowing the Spirit to set the agenda and avoiding the “difficult passage bypass”, but also tackling the topics that Christians need to grapple with.
If you’re a Christian leader in a teaching position make sure you proclaim Jesus Christ from all Scripture.
